Launching Autumn 2026

Hospitality compliance, quietly handled.

HotelGuard is the continuously-verified compliance platform for UK hotels, B&Bs and serviced accommodation. We check every regulator's box — every month — and turn it into one mark guests and OTAs can see at a glance.

Private beta opens September 2026 · UK only at launch

What we cover

Every regulator. One platform.

Each obligation is verified against its own statutory framework — no checklist-with-skin shortcuts. If your inspector cites it, we monitor it.

01
Fire Safety Order 2005

Fire Risk Assessments

FRA review dates, named Responsible Person, escape-route signage, alarm and emergency-light test logs — kept current and presentable on request from the local Fire & Rescue Service.

02
L8 ACoP (HSE)

Water Safety & Legionella

Written control scheme, monthly temperature monitoring, descale and disinfection records for showers and TMVs, and risk-assessment review cycle on the L8 cadence.

03
Food Standards Act 1999

Food Hygiene Ratings

Kitchen and breakfast service paperwork — allergen disclosures (Natasha's Law), supplier traceability, temperature logs, EHO inspection-readiness checklist. Aim for 5, not for "I think we're a 3".

04
Equality Act 2010

Accessibility

Reasonable adjustments register, accessible-room audit, induction-loop placement, website WCAG 2.2 statement. Disclosure your guests can read on the same page they book.

05
UK GDPR · DPA 2018

Guest Data & ICO

Privacy notice that's actually article-13 compliant, retention schedule for booking history and CCTV, lawful-basis register, ICO registration link — visible from your homepage footer.

06
Modern Slavery Act 2015

Ethical Operation

Section-54 statement template (for chains over £36m turnover, but also good practice if you're below), recruitment-agency due diligence, laundry-supplier audit trail.

How it works

Continuous, not annual.

An audit is a moment. HotelGuard runs all year — the trust mark on your booking page is the mark you'd pass tomorrow, not the one you scraped through six months ago.

1

Onboarding

One structured intake. We pull what's public (FSA rating, ICO register, Companies House) and ask only for what we genuinely can't verify ourselves — the FRA date, the named DPO, the L8 cycle.

2

Monthly verification

Each obligation has a review cadence baked in. We re-check the public records, prompt you for the bits that need attention, and re-issue the trust mark only when everything passes.

3

Public trust mark

One embeddable badge for your booking site, your Booking.com profile description, your reception display. Guests click it and see what was verified, when, by whom.

Q3 2026 · Private beta

Be the first hotel to wear the mark.

Twenty independent hotels will join the private beta this autumn — running every check live for ninety days while we tune to real operational rhythms. Two slots per region. Tell us where you are and we'll keep one for you.
